Sex in itself is magick. In hoodoo, most of us know about the use of menstrual blood and sexual fluids in food and spellwork to gain the affections of a lover. Sex can make you love someone that you hate and hate someone that you love. I’m sure I’m not the only woman who has been “dickmatized” before. Sexual energy has the ability to not only shift our emotions, but our livelihoods as well. One of my all time favorite movies is Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love. Set in 16th century India, the movie follows a young woman on her journey as she becomes a courtesan. In the beginning of the movie, the main character, Maya, uses sex to exact revenge on her enemy. I enjoy how the movie then shows the contrast of how sex changed her social status for the worse then for the better. Sex is a sacred energy exchange. The act of sexual intercourse literally intertwines your energy with another person’s. That’s why people tend to “catch feelings” when sexually involved with someone. It’s because their partner’s energy has been consistently deposited in their aura’s bank account. Sex can be utilized for more than a physically gratifying experience. It can be used for a spiritually gratifying one too. In meditation or visualization, we harness euphoric energies by envisioning our manifestations as though they have already been achieved. Sex magick is exceptionally powerful because you are harnessing those same euphoric energies but on a heightened level due to the sexual excitement. Focusing your energy on a specific outcome, or desire at the point of orgasm is especially potent. Here are a few different ways you can use your climax to manifest your desires. 1. To gain the affections of a new or old lover. This would be done during a solo mission. Masturbation has great potency in sex magick because it allows you to completely go at your own pace with unyielding focus. You can focus your energy on your desire without having to consider another person’s sexual fulfillment. You can masturbate to bring a lover or even your ex back to you. As you visualize the sexual encounter with them, focus on them enjoying being with you. As you’re reaching climax, you can enchant your suitor by reciting an affirmation. If you’re seeking a new lover, visualize your ideal mate and what qualities they have. Does he have tattoos? Does he have a six figure salary? Use your sexual energy to focus on how you’d feel having a lover that meets all of your qualities satisfying you on a regular basis. 2. Enhance passion with a lover. You can employ the energy of sex magick to enhance passion between you and your sexual partner through both masturbation and sexual intercourse. If your escapades have been lackluster, or you guys haven’t been doing the deed at all, you can utilize this energy by focusing on what a gratifying experience between you two would feel like. Unless your partner is open minded or has the same desire to heat things up, just leave them in the dark about what you’re doing so their opposition or indifference doesn’t affect the flow of energy. 3. Working towards a mutual goal with your partner. If your partner IS indeed open minded and willing to assist you in channeling this ancient form of magick, the two of you can accomplish some very substantial goals together. For example, if you and your husband are trying to buy a house, next time you guys can’t keep your hands off each other, envision yourselves having sex inside of your dream home. Just make sure you are both on the same page and working towards the same goal, whatever that may be. This method of sex magick is particularly effective because of the simple law “strength in numbers”. Two people focusing their energy on a specific goal will always be far more powerful than one. 4. Improving the behavior of your lover. If your lover has a wandering eye, while you two are getting off, envision him or her deleting old contacts from their phone or unfollowing that chick whose pics he always likes on Instagram. You can also envision your lover showering you with gifts or money. If you two have been getting into frequent disagreements, allow your orgasm to banish the hostility & unleash the energy of peace and tranquility between you and your significant other. 5. Personal goals. You don’t have to have a lover or even a desire for one to tap into sex magick. You can masturbate and manifest. Many people masturbate during rituals for personal gain.
